The 2013 Ball

The 2013 ball was held at Zoom on 7 December and was another resounding success.

The evening began with a performance by the Marryatville High School choir from Adelaide.  Marryatville High School is a specialist music-oriented secondary school and this was reflected in the outstanding quality of the music, which set the evening off to a great start.

After the choir finished we started a fabulous meal from Zatisi which included Australian delicacies (including shark and Kangaroo) and New Zealand and Australian wines.  As we ate, we were entertained by Kylie Feverish, a Kylie Minogue tribute act flown over especially from the UK.  Kyle really got the room pumping and had the dance floor packed even before the main course was served.

The charity auction and raffle raised well in excess of 80,000Kc for charity thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and those who attended and bid on the items.

The evening was rounded off with a brilliant performance by local Kiwi band, Night Lights, who, with the help of some celebrity guests, delivered an outstanding set of Kiwi and Aussie favourites.
